Wait Staff - 28 Peaks

 

Job Title: 28 Peaks Front of House Wait Staff

Reports to: Food & Beverage Manager Wage: DOE

Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt

Job Summary: Serves alcoholic beverages and food to table and bar service at 28 Peaks.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

· Ensure customer satisfaction with efficient, friendly service.

· Take orders, serve food and beverages, and ring up bills for restaurant patrons.

· Serve cocktails, wine, and beer.

· Accurately ring up customer purchases, receive money, and give change using a point of sales system.

· Process credit card transactions and accurately enter tip amounts.

· Stock and clean wait staff area.

· Set-up outdoor games and furniture.

· Clean outdoor seating, tables, and games.

Required:

· Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with guests, co-workers, supervisors, and managers.

· Ability to work varied schedule including weekends/holidays.

· State of Montana Liquor Certificate (available online).

Experience/ Education

Preferred:

· Experience in food service.

· Prior experience working with the public.

· Cash handling experience.

· Knowledge of the golf industry.

Employees must be capable of standing and or walking 90% of a normal 8 hour work shift. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
