POSITION: RECREATION ATTENDANT
EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION: Seasonal, Non-exempt
REPORTS TO: Recreation Supervisor & Program Director
Plays a crucial role in serving our guests. Works at recreational facilities and other program functions including: kiva recreation center, summer tubing hill, leading archery sessions, leading group campfires and other activites. High energy and a positive attitude needed. No slackers. We are the department of fun!
Must have current CPR and 1st Aid certifications.
Work with people of all ages.
Know and implement all safety procedures when needed.
Uphold and adhere to the policies of Snow Mountain Ranch and the Program Department.
Read and speak English.
Previous experience working with people in the service, recreation or teaching areas.
Project a positive attitude towards guests and staff.
Supervise guests within the facilities for which you are responsible.
Make change and balance cash box.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
Promote safe work practices and a safe environment for guests and staff.
Reflect YMCA core values in all functions - caring, honesty, responsibility, respect & faith.
Use a variety of cleaning chemicals.
Work in all environments including outdoors in potentially cold and snowy weather.
Other duties as assigned.

You will be required to wear this uniform while on duty. A neat and clean appearance is required at all times. Shorts, jeans, are acceptable. Earrings are allowed, however, hoops may be no larger than 1/2". Excessive jewelry may be restricted.
