Cultural Tourism Apprentice

JOB STATEMENT/PURPOSE:

Under the direction of the Cultural Programs Manager, Coordinator, and program staff the apprentice position provides a variety of support functions to the Cultural Tourism operations at the Alaska Native Heritage Center. Apprentices will be assigned to a variety of different positions across the organization including Research, Collections, Cultural Tourism, Business Operations, Marketing, and Evaluation. As part of the recruitment process, candidates will be able to express their preferences for any of the above positions. More details about each position will be provided as part of the interview process.

Apprentices may support COVID-19 mitigation efforts as listed in ANHC’s COVID-19 Mitigation Plan, including disinfecting high-touch areas regularly to ensure the safety of staff and guests.
