Position: Concession Stand Worker

Job Category: Part time seasonal

Reports to: Concessions Manager and/or Concession Lead

Rate:  $13.69 Hourly

General Description:

Concession Stand Workers provide outstanding customer service while serving high quality food, in a fun and efficient quick service manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Attention to detail. Previous food preparation and cooking experience. Customer service experience. Ability to smile and chat with guests, punctuality, reliability and neat appearance.  Must possess the ability to learn the proper operation and maintenance of concession equipment and machinery. Ability to follow directions, comply with company procedures and adhere to food safety regulations as well as work in a team atmosphere.

Special Requirements:

Needs to have and keep current a King County food worker health card.

Work Environment, Communication & Physical Abilities:

Fast paced environment. Positive attitude is a must. Workers must be committed to becoming, and working as, part of the concessions team. Must be available to work all weekends and holidays during the Emerald Downs live racing season. Communicate with other staff and leadership with respect.

Must be able to meet the physical requirements of this position, including, but not limited to: 

Tools & Equipment:

Work stations, food, kitchen utensils, supplies, kitchen or cleaning equipment, and cookware.
