Job Title: Janitor
Reports to: Facilities Manager Wage: $9-10/hour DOE
Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Status: Seasonal
Job Summary: Responsible for janitorial duties in and around the companies’ public facilities.
Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:
Clean all RLM facilities, including the base area and those on the mountain.
Efficiently clean and stock all bathrooms in all facilities throughout the day.
Assist with snow removal, including shoveling and snow blowing.
Assist other departments with cleaning/maintenance issues.
Empty and transport garbage and recycling.
Effectively communicate with other employees both in person and via telephone/two-way radio.
May be transported to various facilities via snowmobile, chair lift, or snow grooming machines.

Required:
Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with guests, co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
General janitorial/cleaning skills.
Self-motivated and efficient.
Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends/holidays and emergency situations. Regular work schedule will be 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to safely drive in adverse winter conditions.
Ability to safely travel to mountainside buildings by means of riding chairlifts, snow skiing, or snowboarding.
Ability to move heavy amounts of snow, stand/walk for extended periods, and move safely in varying terrain conditions.
Experience/ Education
Preferred:
Previous experience in a janitorial position.
Prior experience working with the public and providing exceptional customer service.
Knowledge of the ski industry.

Must be capable of walking or standing 90% or more of a normal 8-hour work shift, lifting and moving 50 lbs. or more, walking on uneven terrain, snow, and ice, shoveling snow, bending, stooping, and sitting for extended periods of time.
