*Snow Reporter and Digital Content Coordinator

Job Title:  Digital Content Coordinator

                      

Reports to: Marketing Manager                                                                          Wage:  $11/hr

Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt                                                                    Status: Part Time Seasonal             

                                                                                                                                               

 

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:
 

• Ensure customer satisfaction with efficient, friendly service.
• Generate daily marketing content by taking photos and videos on all areas of the mountain.
• Edit, archive, tag, and manage digital assets.
• Update Red Lodge Mountain website.
• Assist with events.

 

Snow Reporting: 5 days/week starting at 4:30 AM each day:

• Compile data from Snow Sensor, websites, and weather forecasts.
• Interpret data to make a clear explanation of conditions.
• Disseminate information via e-blast, website, and snow phone.
• Compile daily report from Snow Sensor website, weather forecast, and task list.

Required:

• Fluent in speaking and understanding English.
• Strong creative writing skills.
• Ability to work 4:30-6:30 AM, 5 days per week from home. This position will also work an additional 15 – 20 hours each week on site at Red Lodge Mountain creating and managing digital content.
• Phone, internet, and computer access from home.
• Advanced skier or snowboarder with the ability ride all terrain under any condition.
• Knowledgeable in the use of a DSLR camera and video cameras, such as a Go-Pro.
• Proficient in the use of social media, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Experience with Adobe photo and video editing software.
• Must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and enjoy working with people.
• Strong attention to detail required.
• Able to work early mornings and drive in adverse conditions.
• Ability to work varied schedule including weekends/holidays.

 

Experience/ Education

Required:

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of the ski industry.
