Job Title: Lodge Host

Reports to: Food & Beverage Manager Wage: DOE

Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt

Schedule: 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; must be available to work weekends and holidays

Job Summary: Stationed in the Main Lodge, this person is responsible for maintaining a clean environment in the cafeteria seating area as well as serving as a host to the guests, effectively communicating directions, mountain policies and procedures, and basic area information.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

Bus tables in Main Lodge- collecting and washing cafeteria trays
Empty trash receptacles when necessary
Communicate and enforce the company policies of the Main Lodge
Direct groups to the appropriate sitting areas
Ensure customer satisfaction with efficient, friendly service

Required:

Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with guests, co-workers, supervisors, and managers
Ability to work varied schedule including weekends/holidays
Maintain a neat and professional look at all times

Experience/Education:

Preferred:

Prior experience working with the public
Knowledge of policies and procedures of Red Lodge Mountain
Skiing or snowboarding experience or the willingness to learn

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk and hear. Employees must be capable of standing and or walking 90% of a normal work shift. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
