Job Title: Bierstube Host

Reports to: Food & Beverage Manager Wage: DOE

Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Status: Part-Time/Seasonal

Job Summary: Seats guests and controls flow in Bierstube while assisting wait staff.

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

Act as point of first contact for Bierstube guests, setting a guest first service approach.
Seat guests and maintain a wait list when appropriate.
Bus and reset tables.
Stock table settings, merchandiser cooler, and service stations.
Stock and clean wait staff area.
Assist in daily set up and close down duties.
Assist wait staff and bar staff in running food, filling drinks and other guest focused duties.

Required:

Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective communication with guests, co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
Ability to work varied schedule including weekends/holidays.
State of Montana Liquor Certificate (available online).

Experience/ Education

Preferred:

Experience in food service.
Prior experience working with the public.
Cash handling experience.
Knowledge of the ski industry.

Employees must be capable of standing and or walking 90% of a normal 8 hour work shift. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
