Most programs operate from early June through early August. Bike and River treks will run through August 31st. Those in Leadership positions will report in mid-May for orientation and training; General Staff are scheduled to arrive on one of several dates in late May or early June.

Please be as accurate as possible when indicating your availability dates so that we can staff appropriately.  Please only apply for positions in which you can fulfill the entire work commitment, as priority is given to applicants that are available for the entire season. Exceptions must be discussed during interview.

Applicants not yet 18 at time of application must indicate an arrival date no earlier than their 18th birthday.

However, all employees must be or become Adult members of the Boy Scouts of America once selected for employment at The Summit.  (Youth membership is not sufficient for employment).

Please indicate 3 people that can provide a reference on your suitability for employment.  They should be people who know you on a professional or supervisory basis, which may include supervisors, teachers/professors, Scoutmasters, clergy or any other organization leaders. It is not necessary to include the occupation or mailing address for each person listed, but you MUST provide a valid email address, as they will receive an automatically generated email request to complete an online reference form on your behalf.  At least 1 written reference from one of these three is required before an interview will be scheduled or a job offer extended.

References submitted by coworkers, relatives and personal friends will not be considered.
