JOB TITLE:                   Sr. Manager, Marketing & Brand Experience, Alaska Collection

DEPARTMENT:            Pursuit Marketing

LOCATION:                  Anchorage, AK

REPORTS TO:               Director of Marketing

STATUS:                       Full time

The Senior Manager, Marketing & Brand Experience, Alaska Collection, will report to the Director of Marketing for Pursuit and work with the larger Pursuit marketing team in the development and execution of strategic planning, achieving consumer direct revenue targets, supporting the sales team and contact center, and working with internal stakeholders to improve the overall brand experience. The Senior Manager, Marketing & Brand Experience, Alaska Collection, will oversee all marketing activities and programs that will drive consumer direct visitation and revenue for all our Alaska businesses.


Within a matrixed environment, work in collaboration with the functional marketing leads for brand, digital and media to develop tactical plans to support the overarching marketing strategy and business goals

Oversee design and execution of go-to-market & seasonal readiness plans and projects to ensure we are collectively delivering unforgettable and inspiring experiences


Become a strong business partner to our operational leaders, applying and coordinating the larger marketing organization to support those businesses

Develop, socialize and implement a marketing strategy that focuses the skills and energies of the larger Pursuit marketing team to grow revenue, strengthen brand and support the delivery of unforgettable guest experiences

Be our expert on our guests, competitors and the destination. Build and evolve our guest journey maps.

Collaborate with Campaigns & Promotions teams on the development, implementation and optimization of marketing promotions based on business needs and goal achievement

Ensure digital platforms (website, social and email) and other guest journey touchpoints are optimized to drive engagement and conversion

Support the Brand team in overseeing the implementation of experience brands, while ensuring the brand strategy and brand experience is consistent throughout the guest journey

Support media, influencer and communications teams in the growth, maintenance and protection of our Alaska brands

Derive insight from core Marketing KPIs, socialize and align teams to continual optimization

Establish marketing budget to support annual goals, and manage to plan throughout the year

Support development of future new experience activations in Alaska

Support broader Pursuit marketing projects and initiatives as directed

Ideal Skills and Experience:

Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in marketing required, including strong knowledge of hospitality, marketing and accounting principles

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, resort management, tourism or general business preferred

Proficiency in computer skills required, including MS Office, Adobe CS suite, digital marketing, social media

Must possess valid Passport and Driver’s license
