Bargaining Unit: Non Licensed Rate of Pay: $ 18.37 / HR + DOE
SUMMARY: Performs various resident rehabilitative and restorative activities necessary to enable the residents to maintain a high level of functioning; assists in the maintenance of safe and clean environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following:
Performs restorative care to the residents in the ECC.
Performs Range of Movement (ROM) exercises, ambulations, transfer techniques and positioning/turning.
Performs in self/assist feed, feeding, and swallowing techniques.
Performs restorative Activities of Daily Living (ADL) training, i.e. assistive devices for bathing, dressing, feeding and toileting.
Demonstrates all care and observations accurately and promptly.
Provides input regarding resident's restorative care/program.
Provides for resident's safety.
Participates in departmental in-services and training.
Assists with other Certified Nurses’ Aide (CNA) duties as time permits/needs occur (refer to CNA, ECC Job Description #4002422).
Follows security policies/procedures for self, facility, residents and other members of the staff.
Demonstrates System Values in performance and behavior.
Complies with System policies and procedures.
Other duties as may be assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS: Required: Current CA Certified Nursing Assistant, CPR
