Bargaining Unit: Non Licensed Rate of Pay: $24.61 / HR + DOE
SUMMARY: Assists pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining inventory, and maintaining patient records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following:
Processes prescriptions presented by customers and physicians.
Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies.
Participates in the quality improvement.
Demonstrates System Values in performance and behavior.
Complies with System policies and procedures.
Other duties as may be assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS: Required: Current California Pharmacy Technician license.
OTHER EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Two to three years pharmacy technician experience preferred.
